Lindsay Stammer
Owner & Director
Lindsay Stammer is the owner and director of Academy of Dance Arts. She began dancing at age four and, excelling quickly in both technique and leadership, was teaching by 16. Over her performing career she has danced at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Six Flags, the Wisconsin Wave games, New York City and venues across Milwaukee — and for thirty-five years she has attended conventions to keep advancing her own education in the art of dance.
Lindsay found her calling at 23, when she took over one of the earliest-established dance studios in southeast Wisconsin. Under her ownership ADA has grown steadily, and her ongoing training at CNADM (Chicago National Association of Dance Masters), Monsters of Hip-Hop and Disney workshops has shaped her work as both a dance mentor and a studio owner. She has been recognized several times for her expertise as a performer and instructor at CNADM Chicago conventions and holds numerous choreography awards from competitions throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
More than anything, Lindsay thrives on her students' achievements and personal growth. As she puts it: "ADA is a family that progresses with each ambitious child searching for their love of art and expression."
