A Path for Every Dancer

At Academy of Dance Arts you can do a little bit of dance or a lot: recreational classes from age 2, the ADA Dance Company for competitive dancers, adult classes, a summer session — and a June recital where everyone takes the stage.

  • Ages 2 through adult

    Recreational Classes

One class a week or several — ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, lyrical and pointe, organized by age from Dancer & Me through the gemstone levels. Every class performs in the June recital.

    ADA Dance Company

Our competition program: Micro Mini through Senior companies in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and technique, competing across Wisconsin and northern Illinois and performing in the community.

    Annual Recital

The highlight of the ADA year at the Germantown Performing Arts Center — professional stage, real lighting, every dancer from age 2 up. Families tell us it's the most organized, polished recital they've seen.

    Summer Session

A separate summer schedule of classes and camps keeps dancers moving between seasons. Dates and classes are announced each spring.

    Parent Visitation Weeks

In November, February and May we open the studio doors so parents can watch class and see exactly what their dancer is learning.

The same ladder serves every family: a 2-year-old in Dancer & Me, a 9-year-old trying her first Beginner hip-hop class, a 15-year-old going on pointe, a mom in Tuesday-night ballet. Dancers move up through the gemstone levels as they're ready, and the door to the Company is open to anyone willing to work for it.
